| 173140 | 2003-09-05 04:01:00 | I am having major problems with the internet, i use msn icq and yahoo...and every now and then, latley its been every 15-20 mins..it lags..like theres no traffic going thru at all....and sometimes it wakes up and works again sometimes just basically requires a reconnection... what could be causing this? i know it mite be something 2 do with bandwidth but what? |

It's possible that you are getting CRC errors, dropped packets, etc, and it could just be a fact of life, nah jokes, but things like this do occur and it's pretty common, could probably suggest just tweaks and updated drivers or even downgrading drivers. |

| 173142 | 2003-09-05 04:12:00 | winxp home quik internet (www.quik.co.nz) 56k modem.. i usually conect at 52kbps... am in rotorua, 10 min bike from town centre... when i connect...the 2 computers that flash blue with communicaton going on normally does both flashing blue, but when things are lagging or anything like that it just flashes on the front computer not the back......but then sometimes basically nothing at all is happening... then i just wait and it works again..soemtimes it doesnt so i reconnect.. |
