| 173152 | 2003-09-05 03:42:00 | http://www . automessenger . net are offering a 30 day free trial service explained here: "When you switch off your computer or sign out of MSN Auto Messenger signs in on your behalf presenting your personalized away message to your users . Auto Messenger monitors your online status and when you next sign in to MSN switches off message taking and delivers any saved messages that have been left in your mail box . Auto Messenger does not interfere in any way with your normal operation of MSN . There is no software to install, nothing to download and the service begins working for you immediately Auto Messenger works with all versions of MSN messenger including and up to MSN 6 . " The thing is that it isnt actually a peice of software that you download and install, and therefore you cant get rid of it! Then they want to charge you to control it!!! A few of my friends got sucked into this one and we havent been able to figure out a way of getting rid of it yet . If anyone comes across a way of doing this I would be very happy to hear from you! |
