| 173100 | 2003-09-05 00:13:00 | My computer over the last few days has sloooooooowed down. I have done all the usual things, scan disc, defrag and virus scan and updates are done on a regular basis. Windows updates are done automatically when I go online. The only thing that has happened recently that could have caused it is the installation of a new scanner, an HP 3570c, it's since this installation that things started to go wrong. I run Norton Systems Works Suite and have just done a diagnostics scan and come up with the above result (Error detected at address 218337280) unfortunately I am not advised on how to fix this error if in fact it is important or is going to solve the problem. I run Windows ME with 256bm ram, AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 752 MHz Any clues would be appreciated PP |
