173445 2003-09-06 13:49:00 Couple of questions pl. (a) where does Outlook 2000 normally save the address book and messages & can this location be moved somewhere into My Documents? and (b) how do I import my old address book and messages also in Outlook 2000? ZooL (4519)
173446 2003-09-07 09:40:00 Outlook stores its messages in .pst files which you can do a search for to locate. You should be able to move the location elsewhere from within Outlook - have a look in Tools maybe, to see if there is a setting to change. I do not have Outlook myself so am unable to provide specific advice. Regarding the address book someone else may be able to provide advice but Outlook Express uses the .wab file extension which may or may not be the same for Outlook. You should be able to import your old address book and messages through the Import feature within Outlook. tommy (2826)
