| 173197 | 2003-09-05 07:22:00 | Hi, could someone tell me how to stop Messenger from opening up when i start up Windows,i have just downloaded the latest version of Messenger.......and my system is Windows Me. Thanks very much in advance. |

| 173198 | 2003-09-05 08:02:00 | Open Messenger, Click on Tools > Options> General Untick "Automatically run Messenger when I log on to Windows" That should do it. For some reason I also remember disabling this particular feature via Start > Run > "type" msconfig Untick messenger stuff there in "Start UP" Not sure if both is necessary though. sam m |
