173743 2003-09-08 03:10:00 My drive is divided into 3 partitions. E for games. D for applications. C is my boot drive and has my system files on it. I mention this because I wanted to reformat C drive before I reinstalled Windows. But according to the help file on my computer I cannot reformat my boot drive. Has anyone done this or can give me some sound advice. Hilton (293)
173744 2003-09-08 05:10:00 Go to bootdisk.com and download a win 98/win me bootdisk. Copy format.com onto it if its not already there. Boot into DOS, off the diskette and format from there using the command format c: /u

Hope this helps
