| 173685 | 2003-09-07 21:36:00 | Hello. I have installed the avant browsr which looks nice, but it wont work. I have troed opera and crazybrowser but they wont work either. Ththey all say "page cannot be found". Can anyone tell me why? I do not have a firewall.I have windows 98 se.thank you | zoomer (4526) | ||

| 173693 | 2003-09-09 03:35:00 | That is an extreme "solution" to what is just a wrong setting. Are these browsers actually reaching an ISP? If not, they will need some sort of connection setup. If they are, they have probably not got a correct DNS server address. Without that, you can't access any sites by "name". |

| 173694 | 2003-09-09 04:02:00 | Who is your ISP? Perhaps its a proxy problem. I don't have IE, but hopefully someone else will be able to give you instructions to check if you use one. |
