| 173639 | 2003-09-07 08:45:00 | I've just read the article, "Muscle Machines", in the September PC World . I was VERY sad to learn that some manufacturers are now taking tweaking to the extremes (page 61, "Cheaky Tweaking") . Is speed now becoming the Holy Grail for manufacturers? What good is a fast computer that keeps falling over? I'd be interested in hearing your opinions . As for myself I just hope that the manufacturers concerned put an end to the practice and go back to making the quality computers that they are known for . |
