| 174065 | 2003-09-09 04:27:00 | hey people I have been using different mirc scripts, sysreset and invision, and i found to no avail to solve my internet freezing up problems. Here is the problem, since i am behind a router, i need to turn on firewall workaround in sysreset or soem other ports things in invision, and all the time after a little while, my internet freezes up, ie no data can be transfered whatsoever, i have tried to restart computer, use my other computer to get on the net and this problem does not go away. The only solution is to restart my router, and then the internet works again, but this is not good for me, when i am downloading or chatting off irc, every 5 minutes having to reconect and stuffs, so can anyone help me? is it the router, isp - i am prety sure it is not my computer because i reformated my computer just to see if this problem goes away..? I am using Win XP profession, ISP World-net and rent a router off them - Access Runner or something, i think the problem is with the router firmware, or something, but i dunno, so i would appreciate it if anyone can help me out :(.. |
