| 174047 | 2003-09-09 01:29:00 | I'm trying to get a Sony Ericsson T300 to connect to an old P100 notebook running Win95B (the only PC I have with an IR port) so I can upload/download PXTs etc. The problem I am having is that while the PC recognises the phone (shows T300 modem), the phone will not talk to the PC. The phone gives up talking to the PC in a fraction of the time it takes to give up if the PC is not within range. I have tried limiting the data rates to 9600 bps as well as 115kbps. Control panel reports the PC IR hardware and the T300 modem as working and I have loaded the current IR driver from the SE site, although it is supposedly only compatible from Win98 on. Anyone had success with a similar setup? |

However, it might be worth getting the W95 IrDA driver ... I found it recently. But I haven't done anything with it yet. (I'm not sure whether that it is suported for W95b or W95c .. I have an idea that it's 95b so you might be OK). |
