| 174092 | 2003-09-09 07:15:00 | 1,400,000 or 1400000 What are you trying? What formatting do you have for the cell? |

| 174093 | 2003-09-09 09:29:00 | AS Godfather says its not clear what your after. If you want to reformat the cell (but keep the actual value as is) so it has the word Million or the letter M for short you can click format-cells then enter one of these examples into the custom format box. Example using the number 1234567 ... #,###,,"M" 1M #,###.0,,"M" 1.2M #,###.00,,_-"Million" 123.46 Million |

| 174095 | 2003-09-10 02:49:00 | Im doing a graph like this 1952 20,000 1984 500,000 1998 1.3 million 1999 1.4 million 2000 1.4 million 2003 1.5 million If i was to type 1.3000000 then excel would recongise as 1.40 not 1.4 million. The numbers are the numbers of people and Im using those figures to plot a graph Bar graph |

| 174096 | 2003-09-10 05:10:00 | Of course Excel will see 1.300000 as 1.3. Thats exactly what you have entered. If you enter it with commas as 1,300,000 then it will show as 1,300,000 Commas "," are quite different to a decimal "." If you want it to be in Millions, then enter all your data to the same base. 20,000 is 0.02 Million 500,000 is 0.5 Million etc |
