1322052 2013-01-09 00:33:00 First time with decent WiFi, so I'd thought I would say hi, so hi :D

Melbourne has been awesome, been all around

The trams here are brilliant, and having been to the MCG to watch a T20 match, I can say that it it s brilliant stadium to watch sport

Been to the queen Victoria markets, really awesome.

Temperature got all the way up to 41 degrees on one day, 25 degrees the next day was considered cold

That's that so far, hope to post more at the next available Macdonald's WiFi :D

Bye for now

1322053 2013-01-09 01:05:00 Happy and safe travelling GJ! Melbourne is awesome - agreed - especially for their Public Transport!

Brisbane is pretty choice too! You should go for a train ride down to Dream World while in Queensland!

EDIT: Wait - you're saying Macas has 'decent' WiFi 0 . o

1322055 2013-01-09 03:30:00 You little gadabout!

Have fun, stay cool.
When we lived in the Pilbara
and it got over 40 we would head to the mall in Karatha
as SWMBO walked in (or was it out?) her glasses would fog up.
We laughed and laughed...

Much milder in Karamea

(what is it with me and isolated places starting with Kara? :D )

I would choose Karamea over Australia too, still wishing I was back in Nelson, This big city life in Christchurch sucks

1322057 2013-01-09 20:08:00 You'll get back there Gary, as more and more move to Chch
for work, opportunities will present themselves elsewhere.

Cities rate poorly as places to live.
In my opinion.
