1322717 2013-01-14 06:50:00 WinOS is pretty much excluded from this thread - dumfones should have there own thread. Somewhere far, far away. ;) R2x1 (4628)

1322719 2013-01-14 08:33:00 Probably to drop eggs on winfones from a great height. :thanks R2x1 (4628)
1322720 2013-01-14 09:20:00 Internet Explorer != Windows

Well you can't run IE on iPhone, Android, or any other non-Windows cellphone for that matter...

1322721 2013-01-14 09:48:00 IE, Norton and Winphone. Made for each other. Recommended by Swiss Post (for keeping up with a glacier on the Canterbury Plains). R2x1 (4628)
1322722 2013-01-14 10:05:00 Well you can't run IE on iPhone, Android, or any other non-Windows cellphone for that matter... You can't run Safari 6 on any non-Apple OS either ;) pcuser42 (130)

Nobody is complaining about Safari though, only:

Less dependence on IE Mobile

1322724 2013-01-14 18:50:00 You can't run Safari 6 on any non-Apple OS either ;) I sense desperation/deflection.....Who would want to run Safari apart from an iPhone user? The rest of us have a large choice of browsers to choose from (and make default if we wish): Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Dolphin, Maxthon and many more.... johcar (6283)
1322725 2013-01-14 20:17:00 Those of you with a Nexus 7 could invest in this while it's on sale for the next 24 hours, in case we ever happen to get it ;) play.google.com

Looking into Tapatalk a little more, it'd basically give us:
Better looking mobile experience for those who have it
Gallery view (Not an issue, nobody really posts pix here)
Easier moderation using the app
Push notifications (So you don't have to receive an email but can still be notified)

I guess I don't really have anything *against* hooking it up, what are your thoughts Zara ?

1322726 2013-01-14 20:31:00 I tried the beta of Tapatalk HD and dumped it in favour of the old Tapatalk. The new version has a split screen so a third of your Nexus 7 screen is taken up with menus. You can't turn this 'feature' off. The older version is far better in my opinion and that of some others who reviewed the beta version. John H (8)
