| 1322684 | 2013-01-14 18:03:00 | My own email has been listed on a public website for over a year, and I haven't had a deluge of spam (unless Vodafone is filtering them heavily). An easy solution is to provide your email as a graphic - ie as text in an image. If done carefully it can seem invisible where the website text ends and the image begins. I ran into this the other day somewhere when I was trying to select, copy and paste an email address, and couldn't select it. As for the dreaded Capchas, I hate how they use non-words, or nonsense words. They're not making it easy for a literate human (actually easier for a semi literate human who doesn't encounter internal conflict at the fact the word is nonsense). |
