| 1477257 | 2021-05-17 04:26:00 | Hi there Ive a Garman GPS unit that gives Lat & Long coordinates, but need to converting to NZTM Coordinate Easting *& Northing. Nothing in the Online Converters mages sense som I seeking assistance, please. I need convert this reading from my Garmin Explorer + 45.040563 and 169.184400 into NZTM Ive many of these to convert as Im assisting a Heritage Trust on their archaeological database updating. Thanks in anticipation. John. |

| 1477261 | 2021-05-17 08:53:00 | Trouble is, I dont know what format Garman readout is, nor NZTM. Firstly, the Datum of your original map must be known. If your GPS uses the WGS-84 Datum, (which most do) then the NZGD2000 Datum is near enough, unless you want to be pedantic. :) |
