2021-05-13 05:36:00 | Have any of you out there ever used the website www.yr.no/en? It’s a weather outfit in Norway that gives you a forecast for anywhere in the world I’m told. I’ve tried it for a week now and it is unbelievably accurate for Tauranga. A mate tells me it is the one the “Rescue Guys” in NZ use when your life may depend on it being right. I’d never heard of it and I’m wondering if my findings so far may be over too short a period?

2021-05-13 06:08:00 | Had it bookmarked for a couple of years but rarely look at it See it's been expanded which is good Usually look at a few as I find Metservice not very good

2021-05-13 08:14:00 | Its very good but then I find the NZ weather watch site to be just as accurate and both will give a forecast for small towns when Metservice do not | gary67 (56) | |
2021-05-13 19:07:00 | Yep - use it all the time. Great for forecasts for areas not even covered by NZ based services. | ManUFan (7602) | |
2021-05-13 21:48:00 | How can someone in Norway get the forecast for Karamea and Tauranga right. when our guys cant? : Because the 5G celltowers are used by the Illuminati to control the weather Norway makes the 'special' weather controlling electronics What other explanation could there be for NZ Met Service getting forcasting so wrong ?

2021-05-13 21:55:00 | I find Metservice accurate enough. Ok rain for instance. Both here and Ranui....often it would say rain for region. Sure, rain would fall somewhere in the region, but specifically in our suburb? Not so much. But that's getting really specific. | piroska (17583) | |
2021-05-14 13:32:00 | NZ Met Service are not quite as reliable as the Horoscopes, with considerably fewer "wins" than Lotto. ;)

2021-05-14 22:03:00 | Today15 May A period of rain early this morning, then fine. Westerlies. 22°C Sun16 May Fine, with increasing high cloud. Light winds, then northerlies from afternoon. 20°C Mon17 May Morning cloud and chance shower, then fine. Northwesterlies. 20°C Correct so far, it's fine now, but concrete is damp...so some drizzle or rain early on. Yesterday and the day before was accurate too. How MUCH rain is another thing here....as I said it happens but in our suburb, not so much, more on the hills and such.
