1476695 2021-04-22 00:35:00 "Pork Pie" is the sequel to "Goodbye Pork Pie."

I watched "Pork Pie" and found it a great piece of escapism.

I liked the background music which was a couple of pieces of classical music that I recognised but I do not know the names and I was hoping that someone would know the names so I could download them.:help:

Thanks in advance for your help.:thanks

1476697 2021-04-22 02:00:00 Thanks for that, Wainui. Just what I was looking for.

I had a look at the credits in the film and could not find any reference to the music, so that is excellent, thank you.:thanks

1476700 2021-04-22 23:09:00 Roscoe, if you are interested, on youtube look up "Orquesta Joven de la Sinfonica de Galicia". Specifically works by Suppe, Ravel and Tchaikovsky. I'm sure you wont be disappointed! Bryan (147)
1476701 2021-04-22 23:24:00 Roscoe, try this, my favourite classical music, especially the first third of the album, really majestic in places and very English, full of joy and grace and dare I say it, gaiety LOL, not as pompous as the more well-known composers:

1476702 2021-04-23 01:26:00 Thank you for your recommendation, Bryan. I saw quite a few pieces that I recognise, in particular Bolero, which I cast to the TV to watch and listen. Great!

And thank you, Zqwerty, I will have a look at that in the weekend when I have a bit more time.

Much appreciated.:thanks

1476703 2021-04-24 22:45:00 Zqwerty, I had a listen to your music and found it quite lively and joyful. I liked it. I had not heard of the composer, Boyce. I will keep that for when I take the time, usually in the afternoon, to listen to some music. It makes a change from the radio. And you don't have any choice on the radio - you take that which they play. Roscoe (6288)
1476704 2021-04-24 23:43:00 Well you insist on English "the way she is spoken" so I thought you might like a quintessential English composer. I certainly like his classical music best of all. zqwerty (97)
