1471711 2020-09-06 04:15:00 Is this a brand new fresh install after wiping all partitions or reinstalling over the original ?

Sounds a little like you may have more than one Profile (just a guess). To check open C drive / Users. You should have only Your Profile (name), Public and the hidden Default (if hidden files are selected)

1471713 2020-09-06 09:58:00 Try taking ownership of them before you reboot:

Yes, this.
People see the one that they get when logging in and don't realise the old one has all the stuff in it....need to move the files from the old profile.

You may have a corrupt profile , so Win is logging you in with a temp profile , that would be why your files have 'dissapeared' (the will be in the other profiles folders)

1471716 2020-09-07 02:21:00 As 1101 Posted -- your main profile is Corrupted. If its booting into a Temp as listed thats because it cant boot in the the actual profile, and Temp is just that a temp.

If this was a brand new install may pay to wipe all partitions and start again, make sure you have any data backed up first, should have done this already even before starting.

If you want to try and fix the profile have a read of the following CAREFULLY www.techbout.com

Try to reinstall everything and leave just one profile

1471718 2020-09-09 03:37:00 chkdsk /f sometimes fixes this issue (if corrupt profile).
It could be a sign of the hard drive starting to fail .
A new install shouldn't corrupt so soon.

Or, could be as simple as not shutting down Win10 correctly : seen that where the chap would allways force shutdown with power button , eventually corrupting the profile .
You can also try disabling write cache on the Hard Drive & disabling Fast Start .
