A very good idea which, in America, hasn't a hope in hell of working because of the powerful gun lobby who, as I understand it, have the voting power in the US Senate and will block any attempt at gun control.:horrified Besides, where would they get the billions they would need to buy-back all the millions of guns? And don't forget that the American Bill of Rights gives every American the right to bear arms. It's ridiculous!:horrified |

They are, when you take into account population size as compared to NZ, no worse crime wise than here. The BLM riots and the like that we see on our news are the exception not the norm.
