| 1471924 | 2020-09-27 08:21:00 | Hi all, I took a few videos on my iPhone this weekend and, being in a hurry to capture the scene, did not zoom in sufficiently in a couple of them so the subject is too far in the background. It looks like there are a number of programs available that will crop videos but I don't know if they will do the job, ie do they crop the entire video in one hit or can parts be cropped and parts be left as is? Has anyone done this before? The videos are in MOV format and I'm using Windows 8.1. Thanks. |

| 1471929 | 2020-09-28 03:11:00 | You may be able to do this on your iPhone? I have had a play and seems like it's possible. I'm using IOS13.7. Be careful, may alter the original video. Try the edit function when the video is selected, then there should (may) be a crop function (looks like a square with 2 dotted arrows around it - bottom right corner). I could zoom in on the original video with this, move it around, etc. Can also trim video from either (or both) ends. Have a play.... (backup your videos first) |
