| 174518 | 2003-09-11 05:54:00 | If the built-in ICF is enabled in XP, which settings should I enable in order to allow my network of 3 computers (all XPs) to work properly? When I click Advace Settings, there are a lists of things like services, Security Logging and ICMP, I am really confused as what to enable? Help, please. Cheers |

Have a look at these two for a start: Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall ( . tipsdr . com/windows-xp-firewalls . html" target="_blank">www . tipsdr . com) Windows XP Firewalls ( . tipsdr . com/windows-xp-firewalls . html" target="_blank">www . tipsdr . com) . Typing windows xp icf into Google will get you more results also . One more point: Windows XP firewall will not prevent traffic going out from your computer, only incoming traffic . |
