| 174303 | 2003-09-10 03:08:00 | Hi All, I'm having a few problems with the above...... I have just spent a few bucks and gone to a laptop, and have been furiously trying to get all the settings to that which I am used to. Thus far I have succeeded with the exception of two minor yet highly frustrating settings in Outlook Express and IE respectively. 1. Outlook Express won't remember my passwords when checking my mail boxes. I have xtra, and a hotmail address, and every time it starts up it doesn't remember the passwords for either, despite me checking the "remember my password" checkbox. Any ideas? 2. IE for some reason doesn't remember anything I have previously put in to forms on the web. When i say this, I used to get a drop down box in some sites where I could choose previous entries I may have put in. For example in web search sites search forms I could double click on the form, and the drop down list of previous entries would appear....... Again, any ideas? Many thanks Craig. :D |

| 174305 | 2003-09-10 10:01:00 | Thanks Jim - the Oulook Express fix worked perfectly..... As for the IE autocomplete, I had fiddled with the options as in your second entry already, and have realised that it takes a little time for the entries to build up, as they are now starting to happen. Many thanks for this. Craig. :D |

Yeah, kind of a dodgy nickname I picked up in sporting circles, and as a result it's carried through everything now, and obviously for everything I get a nick for on the web................ Craig. :D |
