| 174378 | 2003-09-10 06:03:00 | Hi I have a problem! Went I start my pc it has 3.16GB on the main windows partition and it slowly gets less and less over a period of a few hours til I have 0 kb free. I have checked for possible viruses (found none) from 2 independent sources. I dont have system restore running and I am completely baffled. I am a relatively experienced user and I have no clues |

| 174379 | 2003-09-10 06:25:00 | I had the same problem with Windows 98 a while ago. I did a virus scan, to no result. Eventually I just ran disk cleanup and uninstalled a few games, clearing about 900MB of space. I never did find out what the problem was, but I haven't experienced it since. Thanks for pointing this thread out to me Susan ;) |

Try one of these to see if it can identify whats hogging your space . HDD Utilities ( . 2000shareware . com/disk-analysis-tools . html" target="_blank">www . 2000shareware . com) Lots of Goodies ( . bykeyword . com/pages/disk . html" target="_blank">www . bykeyword . com) . I haven't tried any of these so the usual warning applies . Cheers Murray P |
