174728 2003-09-12 01:33:00 In my Windows directory (C:\Windows\), there is a directory named ServicePackFiles, with windows system files in it. Just a guess, but are these the backup files pre-SP1? Do I need this folder? SpiderVenom (1412)

To be on the safe side, just keep it :)

174731 2003-09-12 05:35:00 From the look of them, they are the SP1 service pack files that the installer extracts to the HD. Do I really need to keep em? I have the SP1 setup file, and being on the safe side involves giving up 240+ MB os space.

I'll move em, and see what happens :D

Let us know what happens & see if windows (or windows update) throw’s a hiss fit! :DOr move them to the trash can for a few weeks & see what happens…

Good luck!
