| 174708 | 2003-09-11 22:47:00 | I have a PII 350 Compaq desckpro and when I start up the computer instead of seein the usual ram count all I get is a flashing curser for 90 seconds then the total ram is displayed. then the computer tales another 2 1/2 minutes to load. It has onle happend this week after Downloading from Kazaa and recieving 6 virus's in the downloads. I have removed the virus's. I have no settings for doing Quick boot and disableing the ram count in the bios, I am running winxp pro It is now a slow computer Cheers and thanks |

| 174710 | 2003-09-12 03:05:00 | Yes I am using AVG and it has a boot Block test, I had the thought that it might be a virus in the Boot Block, so I will try another detecter either Nortons or Pccillen. Ant other suggestions will be most appreciated cheers |
