| 174606 | 2003-09-11 10:43:00 | I have dx 8.1 and whenever I play a game that uses 8.1 (if it uses an older type, it is fine), it flickers and doesn't display things correctly. Why is this? Thanks, Sparq |

| 174609 | 2003-09-12 00:02:00 | I have just updated DirectX and it is still doing the same thing. My computer is a celeron 1000MHz 256M ram, windows 98, and a standard via video card. When I am in one of the games, there are white patches that flash and make the game very hard to see. The games that don't work are things like MechWarrior Vengance and Battlefield. One game that does work is CounterStrike. Thanks, Sparq |

Check what C_S is using and see if you can set your other games to use it also! You may want to try getting the latest drivers from your manufacturer's website for your Graphics card too! |

| 174612 | 2003-09-21 03:34:00 | I updated my drivers to the latest nvidia denotator drivers and they work fine for all other games (that use to work fine on the old driver) now has the same flickering and white patch problem as above. I am runnign direct x 8.1 (not sure I like dx 9 might wait till a patch comes out) anyone has any ideas? |
