| 174583 | 2003-09-11 09:33:00 | I've been doing some tinkering and have committed the cardinal sin of not recording the status quo before making any adjustments In C.Panel-Networks-Config tab, the "Primary Network Logon " window has two options [a] Windows Logon and [b] Microsoft Family Logon I can't remember which of the two was functioning before I meddled with my settings. My question - is it very significant which one is configured? and what do these two options effectively do in your setup? I have selected "Windows Logon" and everything fortunately seems OK -so far. Maybe I've been lucky and selected the right one. If relevant I'm using W98SE. I.E 6 , O.Exp willbry |

Open your network icon in control panel and pull/drag the question mark at the top, down into the Primary Network Logon box and release it. This will popup a menu to explain for you in more detail. I hope that this sheds some light. :) |
