| 174637 | 2003-09-12 03:51:00 | If you click on the Help button at the top, and About Internet Explorer it will tell you the version you have and also the secuity patches that may have been applied, like Q313829. These cumulative patches include everything that has gone before (more or less) plus the current security update. Some of the patches apply only to SP1 or SP2, so if you prefer to stay with version 5.5 it would be a good idea to try to update to SP2, and then apply the latest security patch. Time is quickly running out as Microsoft is dropping support for Win98SE. It is already difficult to find IE5.5 SP2 to download. |
