I wonder if confdefs.h is supposed to be produced by the configure process. :O Yes it's ldconfig. You "should" have guessed, there are very few command with uppercase letters in their names. (Once they would ahve been all uppercase ... the ASR33 Teletype (which was the usual terminal on early DEC machines when K&R were working on Unix) was uppercase only. I'm starting to get away from Gnome on my laptop ... blackbox is going to take a bit of work to get really usable, but it starts in a couple of seconds. Since I only use GUIs when I have to, it makes a difference. There will be full packaged binaries for Gnome2.4 soon. They'll be big, so it might be easiest to wait for a magazine to put it on their CD. :D |
