~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although most customers have had no problem with their Quik Internet connection, it has become apparent that a few customers have been experiencing intermittent problems. Unfortunately the reason for the problem had been very difficult to identify and we could not even be sure if the problem was on our system.
However, a few minutes ago, I received the following notice from our Support Team:
==============================
Subject: Network Problems
Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2003 16:51:23 +1200
Organization: Quik Internet (NZ) Ltd
We have at last found an intermittent fault on one of our routers. We
have now replaced this router and the network appears to be performing
back at an acceptable level. We have also upgraded our Internet bandwith
so customers should actually experience better performance than before.
Apologies for the delay with this repair but the solution was quite
elusive.
==============================
Please let me know if you do not see an improvement in the reliability of your Quik connection.
i replied saying that i'd let them know tommorrow as most of my connection problems happen at night...
so thankfully it wasnt a fault at my end *touch wood*
and thanks heaps for ur help too :D
