| 175141 | 2003-09-14 06:39:00 | Wow... care to just chuck out a touch more information. What program are you trying to get the messages out of? What program are you trying to get the messages to? OS's on both machines? Are they networked? Do you have a CD-Writer? Chances are they will be too big to fit on a disk so will need to be compressed or transferred on a bigger medium like a CD or something. |

The ones on the old computer can be copied over to your new computer, but be aware that if you have any messages in those files on the new PC, they will be replaced. Make sure that OE is not running when you perform the operation. |

| 175143 | 2003-09-14 08:54:00 | Thank you people, sorry I omitted the relevant information. The old pc OE is ME and the new OE is XP home. The messages I referred to were the existing messages in the old (ME) PC..I managed to export the address book, but not the messages, I did this a couple of years ago when transferring from my old P300 Outlook Express info to the ME, blah blah...but alas have since forgotten how, and haven't been able to gleen information from anywhere... Will search for the .dbx files and get back to you both. Ta very muchly ! |
