174940 2003-09-13 08:33:00 The local branch of the PC Company (Whangarei), is now advertising as the PC Factory.

Doors are open and the lights on. Just driving past, have not been inside yet.

174941 2003-09-13 12:20:00 How much have the logos etc. changed?

Mike.

174942 2003-09-13 14:57:00 Not much
Simply taken out the word "Company"
and put in "Factory"
In fact if I hadn't read an earlier post here I wouldn't have noticed the difference at all

174943 2003-09-13 21:11:00 Heard on the radio that Whangarei and Taradale are separate companies, and therefore still operating. Neil McC (178)
174944 2003-09-13 21:59:00 Didn't the PC Company say they were going to "tempoarily close for 2 days" or something like that? It's been more than 2 days.... somebody (208)
174945 2003-09-13 22:04:00 Thats what they said and yes Colin Brown does not own Whangarei or Taradale. smithyh (4495)
174946 2003-09-15 04:00:00 I can assure you guys that Colin Brown has never ever had any financial interest or shareholding in either PC Co Taradale or Whangerei.

Both are independent companies, and in the case of Taradale, had been a very successful computer supplier for many years before changing its name to "The PC Company (HB) Ltd" in 1998.

Both Taradale and Whangerei still trade on, both are financially sound and stable operations.

And could they tell some stories....could they what !
