| 175224 | 2003-09-21 02:57:00 | have you thought of trying an isp like e3 (www.e3.co.nz) , you have to pay $180 in advnce for a whole year, but that works out as only $15 a month, a saving of $24 a year, and I have only heard good things abou them. | mikeymike76 (4408) | ||
| 175225 | 2003-09-21 04:22:00 | We've been with Slingshot for about 2 years now, no problems at all. Very good value for money I think. Yes, they disconnect you occasionally (usually when we've been online for a good few hours) but it doesn't often happen and you can usually reconnect immediately. Occasionally we get a busy signal when trying to connect, but this happens less often than with our previous (more expensive) ISP. | Rod J (451) | ||

| 175227 | 2003-09-21 06:10:00 | I can confidently say that Slingshot are by far the worst ISP I have ever used (out of seven- three of which were free). It would take me 8 or 9 attempts to get online and once online, 7 times out of 10 I would be disconnected after 5 minutes online. The top download speed I could get on Kazaa was about 1.4kb/s I am now happily with Paradise dial up. |
