| 175649 | 2003-09-16 03:00:00 | My computer is running slow and I get lots of lock- ups and crashes. I have windows 98 SE and plenty of memory. I was told to download memoryblaster for $29.95 (American dollars) Can anybody advise me if this is well worth doing? Thanks for your reply. |

Your problems can be related to many things, from overheating to software compatibility problems, to faulty memroy. Unless you can determine what the actual problem is, spending $29.95US isn't going to solve your problems. When you work out the price, it'd probably be better to hire a technician to do 2 hours work on solving the problem. |

| 175652 | 2003-09-16 05:40:00 | A quick search of google seems to suggest that memoryblaster is spyware. So it will just make things worse. Grab a copy of adaware (www.lavasoft.de). It will remove any spyware up on your system that often causes the crashes. Its free. |
