| 175934 | 2003-09-17 06:37:00 | Since my Installsheild doesn't work, I figured'I'd just download a new version. I went to the ISS website but all those downloads seem to be for developers. What is the normal installer utility for installsheild called? Or does Installsheild work totally different? Thanks .ham |

| 175936 | 2003-09-17 08:01:00 | Go to the Instashield site and search their knowledge base, there are troubleshooting guides with links to downloads.. What error message are you getting and what version of the installshield engine do you have. If you got to Program Files > Common Files > Installshield > Engine folder get the version from the properties. Some fixes for Installshield errors are as simple as deleting the engine folder described above and then starting your install some may require a registry edit. Hasn't worked for me yet tho :(, a couple of apps updates are throwing errors I've been unable to fix, will post them on PF1 sometime soon. Cheers Murray P |
