| 175860 | 2003-09-17 02:04:00 | News about a potential security flaw in Internet Explorer: read it here ( . computerworld . com/securitytopics/security/holes/story/0,10801,84756,00 . html?nas=SEC2-84756" target="_blank">www . computerworld . com) . Surferbar is one nuisance which can be installed on a victim's computer without their permission through this flaw . Until it is properly patched security experts recommended disabling support for Active Scripting on affected Internet Explorer versions or using another web browser . It sounds fairly low risk for most people at the moment but better safe than sorry . ;-) |

| 175862 | 2003-09-17 06:44:00 | I bet MS wouldn't recommend using another browser aye? I'd bet Bill Gate's Chequebook (checkbook) that he'd recommend waiting for a patch to be released, or if it's released for people to download it. Although I'm not a gambler, so he can have it back for a fair price :P | Kame (312) | ||
