| 175640 | 2003-09-16 04:40:00 | I have a soundblaster 5.1 sound card, the speakers and mic work fine, until after i installed a tv tuner card. Now i went to try my mic (headset) and can get the speakers on the hetset to work but i cannot record sound or get the mic to work. I also seen under the volume options some are checked and they cannot be unmuted, what cases that and how to fix it? Thanks |

| 175641 | 2003-09-16 05:01:00 | What program are you using to record your sound? (Might I recommend Goldwave from goldwave.com!) Have you put a tick in Select under Microphone, as it tells it that you want to "Select" the microphone to record from. You can always try disabling (In the Device Manager) the TV-Tuner card if you REALLY think its the culprit, however I doubt it. Cheers Chill. |
