I purchased Syntrillium's Cooledit 2000 online a couple of years ago before Adobe took over, and am wanting to upgrade to XP without obliterating cooledit from use. I have tried replicating the process I originally went thru as a trial run; install trial version, using my registration key, track down system files from original etc etc all to no avail. Is this a registry thing I have to delve into? The reason I am doing this is every installation I have done of XP to date I have to reinstall all my programs afterwards. Why doesn't the registration key work?? |
