176119 2003-09-18 07:02:00 Yep! Sometimes I don't know what is worse, battling a buggy patch or stomping on a worm. I've had more bad patches than bad worms btw, maybe the virus/security vendors should be putting out patch definitions to protect our machines and sanity.

It'll be interesting to see what the effects of this blaster are if they are sent through the Akami system as that's supposed to spread the DDOS attack around it's own servers so it's not as painful, isn't it?

Only because it's not what 90% or so of people use, if it was the virus targets would be somewhat different I'm picking.

Also there have been a few openSSH vulnerabilities recently...
