176052 2003-09-17 22:16:00 I am running IE 6.
I wish to change the home page but it is greyed out in "Internet options". Any ideas from the smart people here

176053 2003-09-17 22:37:00 What windows version are you running? Has the homepage been changed without your permission?

Run Spybot and/or Adaware if your homepage has been hijacked. If you already use Spybot is the Lock IE startpage.........., check box ticked in the Immunize window (towards bottom)?

Try a repair of IE in Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Internet Explorer > Change, button.

If you have win2k or xp, try: go Start > Run and type gpedit.msc, in the left pane of the window expand (+) Administrative Templates > (+) Windows Components and Internet Explorer and find Disable changing home page settings in the right pane, right click > Properties and set to enable.
