its hit 600MB so i think it would help a bit

i only use the user Administrator

Do a little check through it and if most of the stuff seems to be installs that you have already install and so-on then deleting it shouldn't hurt.

However certain files may be locked and a delete halt might occur where a file is found which cannot be deleted.

Solutions:

1. Try delete around the files which cannot be deleted

2. Delete the files from outside windows where the files are not protected such as a command prompt from boot disk /boot CD for windows 95/98/ME or recovery console in say NT4/2k/xp

176487 2003-09-20 02:11:00 If they are in a Temp directory, by "definition" they should be removable. The only ones which mustn't be, are (like a swap file) those in use in the current session, and they will be protected from deletion. Graham L (2)
