I dragged icons for half a dozen shortcuts, which I use often, to the RH side of the screen. This leaves gaps on the LH side which I can fill by shuffling the remaining icons around. I can also sort them all by name etc but is there a method of sorting them but leaving the ones on the RH where they are i.e. can I "anchor" icons in a position whilst automatically moving the others??

(I hope you understand my ramblings}

176551 2003-09-20 04:39:00 You can choose to have them all manually positioned, and they will stay where you place them.

You can choose to have them all automatically alighned, the way the computer wants.

The choice is a global setting, not per icon.
