176363 2003-09-19 01:05:00 When I load up XP on my home pc the error message IRprops.cpl not found appears on the screen. The grey box at the base states this is a DLL error.Does anyone know why this would do this and how do I fix it. I have tried de installing my recent software installations but to no avail!! iceman (4578)
176364 2003-09-19 01:37:00 Plenty about it on Google. Its apparently to do with one of the windows updates. It is associated with the IR (Infra Red) or Bluetooth drivers, and the .cpl means its to do with the control panel applet.

One suggestion was to edit the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
right click on BluetoothAuthenticationAgent in right pane and select delete
(ignore any extra space put in by the forum software in "Run")

Your own risk, but read up on the problems others are having, there may be other solutions.
