| 177260 | 2003-09-23 03:19:00 | I am using Windows 98 on both my desktop & Notebook. I have enabled direct cable connection. The computers find each other then ask for a Computer names to look for shared folders. Then bombs out because it cannot find it. Been through this before & mostly you can change host & guest around and one will finally see the other. In this case though, although they both know that they are in fact connected they won't log onto the shared folders. Any ideas greatly appreciated as this is most frustrating. Jeff H. |
