| 177110 | 2003-09-22 19:38:00 | Temporary Files is where programs store files which have been temporarily extracted and/or made, so the program can run properly. An example of this are Installers... A cache is a storage of sites files (more so images) so your computer doesn't have to dowload them constantly. Depending on the site depends on whether you can restore your password. Some sites may store your password in plaintext inside a cookie, however most will encrypt it with MD5 or some other method to stop snooping eyes from getting new passwords... CyberChuck |
