| 177590 | 2003-09-24 08:40:00 | Hi,recently updated a friends computer,from Windows ME to Windows XP pro.When the computer is shut down now it brings up a page with the message that it is "safe to turn off Windows".Previously the computer would shut down completely on it's own.Any suggestion as to where to look, to get the computer to shut down correctly ? Computer is approx 2 1/2 years old,750mhz. cheers ruup |
