| 177484 | 2003-09-24 06:33:00 | No can do. Autoexec is used for DOS based operating systems like win9x Windows XP is not DOS based, so doesn't have an autoexec.bat file. Is your JAVA install too old? |

| 177486 | 2003-09-24 22:02:00 | If you really need to put something in the autoexec.bat in winXP you will find it under %systemroot%\system32\autoexec.nt. %systemroot% being your folder that winXP is in. You can also find the config.sys file there called config.nt Don't rename them!! They must be *.nt not *.bat! Just open them in notepad to edit. As stated before though these are only used for DOS programs. |
