| 1347826 | 2013-07-03 00:11:00 | Hey guys im looking at at getting a new laptop (and first at that) this month as I start my bachelor in it. O really want a i7-4200mq but I can only get a ultrabook with it at this stage. Does anyone know when the i5's will be out or more laptops... does anyone have better recommendations for me. LAptop must be hp. Asus or toshiba (sony too tho I know there all too pricey) Will be used for compiling programs, heavy web usage and occasional light-med gaming. I want a long battery life if possible too |

Best battery life at present is of course Haswell, Intel doesnt seem to want to increase ghz, but are doing great with battery life. I dont think OEM have the Haswell based ultrabooks out yet though!, they are still Ivy Bridge |
