We have a new laptop which has Win 7 installed. I am getting a message “PoP3 sever not recognised" Does this mean that I have to change my internet provider. We currently use Xtra – Yahoo - and I can not set up my email address. Any suggestions please |

Win7 doesnt have one. So you would have to install one |

If you're using the mail app in Win8, that doesnt support pop email accounts. So, you'll have to install Office / Outlook, or a free email program like Opera mail / Thunderbird |

I have loaded Microsoft OuUTLOOK as a Mail aap. My wife has two email accounts, with Xtra and with GMail. The Xtra account works fine but I can not configure the GMail account. What settings do I need in the POP and SMTP windows ? |
