1347178 2013-06-27 11:58:00 I need a couple of USB b/g/n 150 Mbps adaptors for an office situation where the WPA2 router/AP is only a few metres away in the same room. They are for Win XP machines and just used for Internet access and LAN printing.

It's pretty confusing seeing the variety available and the big variation in price. Bit concerned seeing reports of overheating, too.

Looking at branded ones about $30 each which are available from the likes of Comp Lounge or Ascent.

Anyone with good experiences of devices that fit my requirements? (e.g something that is very reliable and just does the job!). Otherwise, I'll pick one with a pin!!

1347179 2013-06-28 01:57:00 Might give this one a nudge. TP-Link TL-WN723N, Wireless Adapter, 150Mbps. Ascent has them for $25.40 with 4 year warranty. linw (53)

1347182 2013-06-28 11:13:00 I have a more expensive TP-link one with a screw on aerial, very good range and rock solid reliability. Had it for a year or two. dugimodo (138)
